Historical-Literary Nature

The Monte Zebio (sacred area) is one of the best known and most frequented mountains on theAsiago plateau. Easy hike, but very impressive and full of history. Many testimonies of the first world war, recovered in outdoor ecological Museum and the places described by Emilio Lussù in his book "a year on the plateau".

A moment of respect they deserve on the cemetery of the "Sassari Brigade" that thanks to the twinning between the town of Asiago and Sardinia is now the land of Sardinia, and the "Scalambron Mina, (sacred area) where in 1917 the entire infantry regiment was spassato away involving accidental outbreak of the same mine that they themselves were preparing.

The beautiful landscape ranges from "area of Melette" central basin plateau. The natural environment always reserve some surprises both Karst fauna that purely floral arrangements.

Going up you may well notice the passage of karst and grazing in the area.
